Best used in combination with silica sol (1 ml silica sol + 1 ml gelatin, add separately !).

How do I know which fining agent to use?
One of the simplest and still one of the best methods is "trial and error": take several samples of the wine to be fined and put them in sample tubes. Add a few ml or grams of a different clarifying agent to each sample tube. One sample tube of wine/juice with Pecto enzyme and another with alfa-amylase (for starchy fruit) are also useful. Leave to clarify for a few hours and you will immediately see which clarifying agent gives the best result!
