The brewing kettle is particularly well suited by its heating capacity of 2000 watts for mash and hops boiling with our mash bag. To do this, the supplied grate is placed in the kettle, the mash bag (not included) is hung in and attached around the edge, so the mash can not burn and does not float around loose in the pot. Stirring is still possible.

During lautering, the mash bag with contents is simply removed from the pot and hung in the fermentation bucket or our lauter attachment. This allows the wort to be filtered by running it through the grist. The wort is also poured slowly through the grist to wash it out.
